Spring? Where?

This week's challenge at Heart 2 Heart is green.  However, there is no green here.  With what might be record snow, spring is nowhere in sight.  Once this storm cleared I got my cardio workout by shoveling.  The birds ate seeds all day.

For today's project I wanted to use the frames in the Sweet Moments stamp set.  They didn't get in the clock project, but here they are now.

I used cocoa ink for the frame and twilight ink for the sentiments.  The sentiments are from Tag the Occasion stamp set and Sweet Moments stamp set.  The scalloped ovals are oval 4 on page 52 of the Cricut Art Philosophy cartridge.  The large frame is on a 2" oval, and the small frame is on 1.5" oval.

The papers I used are olive cardstock and Florentine.  The embellishments are creme brule ribbon, paradise paper flowers (except the dark ones which are Creative Memories), and colonial white brads.  I popped up the ovals with 3D foam tape.

I think these cards would make a great gift.  I want to make a box for them to go in, but I haven't settled on a design yet.

I hope you have more spring-like weather where you are.  It is definitely still winter here.
